With so many THC drug testing products out there, it can be difficult to know which one is best for you. Since we’re here to help people, we thought it would be a good idea to discuss the differences between the THC drug tests available on the market today.
The first thing you need to know is how the THC test works. Drug tests are measured in ng/mL, which means nanograms per milliliter. It is used by labs as a unit of measure (of density) for test results. Every drug test has a designated threshold level. The lower the level, the more sensitive the test. As you can imagine, not all drug tests are created equal. Most labs and government testing programs have a cutoff of 50 ng/mL for THC tests. Some of the big box pharmacy stores don’t include the cut-off level in their product information. We recommend not using any THC test that doesn’t disclose the cut-off level.
Accuracy Levels: Do They Matter?
Most companies advertise a 99% accuracy rate on THC home drug tests. Technology has advanced to the point where it is not extremely difficult to meet this standard, provided the products were manufactured in FDA regulated facilities. Since most products meet this standard, the cut-off level is more important to look for.
Best THC Home Drug Tests
The THC 15 ng/mL is lowest level of detection for an at home drug test on the retail market. We’re the only company that produces a test with this detection level. As mentioned, the industry standard for THC is 50 ng/mL. If you can pass this test, you can rest assured you will pass a standard THC test. For a limited time, this test is also 15% off, so now is a great time to grab a couple!
While not quite as sensitive as our 15 ng/mL, this test still detects at a lower level compared to standardized tests. A negative result on this test can give you good peace of mind about passing a standard lab test.
Our exclusive Ütest-O-Meter gives you a lot more than just a positive or negative result. There are 5 levels of THC detection: 15 ng/mL – 20 ng/mL – 50 ng/mL – 100 ng/mL – 200 ng/mL. What this means is you can take the test, and see what level of THC you have in your system. If you’re trying to get clean, the goal is to be test negative at all levels. We recommend taking one test so you can see what level you’re at. Then, in a few days take another one. Keep going, and before long you will be completely clean!
